. Varkala is the only place in southern Kerala where one can find cliffs adjacent
to the Arabian sea. These tertiary sedimentary formation cliffs are a unique
geological feature in the otherwise flat Kerala coast, and are
known among geologists as Varkala Formation and a geological
monument as declared by the Geological Survey of India.
The cliff top offers a scenic view of the Arabian Sea and the
magnificent beach. There are numerous
water spouts and spas on the sides of these cliffs.

മനോഹരമായ ഈ തീരത്ത് എത്ര കണ്ടാലും എത്ര പകര്‍ത്തിയാലും തീരാത്ത അത്ര കാഴ്ചകള്‍ ഉണ്ട്..അതിന്റെ മകുടോധാഹരനമാണ് ഈ ഫോട്ടോ ....പുണ്യാളാ നിങ്ങള്‍ എന്നെ പലപ്പോഴും അത്ഭുതപ്പെടുത്തുന്നു .....
